The year was 2011 and our friends from DPA (Architectural Projects Departments) at ETSAM, had designed quite an unusual format of architectural conferences.
They invited four awarded studios to explain their work, but sent them an empty cabin suitcase in advance so they can fly in with a collection of their samples, materials, models and random elements.
There was a double sense in the Matters term of the conference cicle title:
(1) of importance,
and (2) that has physicality.

We got the chance to play with those items, completing a new construct based both on their inner nature and the specific character of each office.
